THE HIRING PROCESS:

Agapé Home Care is licensed by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Community Care Licensing (CCL), Home Care Services Bureau (HCSB) division. As a licensed organization, everyone we employ must be registered with the HCSB as a “Home Care Aide,” be Live Scanned for a criminal background clearance (unless already cleared through a qualifying facility or agency) and obtain a Tuberculosis (TB) clearance (unless already cleared within the last two years). These pre-hire requirements may result in an out-of-pocket expense to perspective employees; however, all fees will be reimbursed within 30 days of employment.

Agapé Home Care Management will schedule a personal interview with qualifying applicants and have them complete the required personnel documentation for their file, provide instructions for completing the HCSB “Home Care Aide” registration and Live Scan background screening, verify personal and professional references, administer an in-house drug test (THC will not hinder employment) and provide access to our orientation and training materials in preparation for assignment.
